Free Women’s Only English Classes

Did you know that over the past year 55,8% of our survivors did not speak English?

Language barriers is a very common issue faced by Black and Minoritised women in the UK depriving them of accessing services, being aware of their fundamental rights and getting education and employment opportunities.

As part of KMEWO’s rebuilding services, we provide free women’s only English Classes to tackle language barriers and boost confidence. Our classes are either in person, at Caxton House and in Finsbury Park Mosque or online via zoom in an attempt to ensure that all women can access them.

We create women’s only safe spaces where women can come together to learn and socialise dedicating some time to themselves.
