Training for Professionals
KMEWO provided training to frontline professionals on VAWG and harmful practices, such as Forced Marriage (FM), “Honour” Based Violence (HBV), and Female Genital Mutilation (FGM). The trainings are delivered to wide range of statutory including police, social workers, health care workers and voluntary sector to raise awareness and improve the way in which key services respond to Harmful Practices cases. Focus is given to identifying risk factors/prevention, safeguarding, referral pathways and multi-agency response.
