Understanding and Responding to Harmful Practices

As part of the 16 Days of Activism activities, we are very excited to announce an upcoming Harmful Practices Training for Professionals in the statutory and voluntary sectors with an aim to explore the complex nature of Forced Marriage, Female Genital Mutilation (FGM) and ‘Honour’ Based Abuse when intersected with Violence Against Women and Girls.

The training will be delivered by Dr. Feride Kumbasar whose extensive experience and dedication to the VAWG sector will bring essential insights on how professionals can prevent and efficiently respond to potential incidents of harmful practices.

Date: Friday, 28th of November 2025

Time: 10am-1pm
