Kurdish and Middle Eastern Women\u2019s Organisation (KMEWO) came together 24 years ago with an aim to provide holistic services supporting Black and Minoritised Women, survivors of Domestic Abuse and other Harmful Practices, through their journey towards safety, recovery and rebuild. As an accredited \u201cled by and for\u201d women\u2019s organisation striving for equality, safety, justice and empowerment, our mission is to ensure that Kurdish, Middle Eastern and North African (KMENA) women living in the UK are supported and empowered to achieve a better standard of life, free from any violence and with legal freedoms intact.<\/p>\n

We are currently looking for Part-time Women Development & Employment Support Coordinator<\/strong> to join our small but busy and expanding team.<\/p>\n

Women Development and Employment Support Coordinator -(Part-time)<\/strong><\/h4>\n

Contract: Fixed term contract 1 year (with possibility to extend)<\/p>\n

Part time: 21 hours per week (3 days per week)<\/p>\n

Salary: \u00a328,000 per annum pro rata<\/p>\n

Holidays: 15 days per annum + bank holidays (pro rata)<\/p>\n

The successful candidate:<\/p>\n

Will have a demonstrable experience in providing advice and guidance to individuals and groups on personal development and progression towards education, volunteering, and employment, preferably at a community setting or at third sector organisations.<\/p>\n

\u00b7 Must be fluent in English, and one or more of the following languages: Kurdish, Arabic or Farsi (Other Middle Eastern and North African languages will also be considered).<\/p>\n
