KMEWO is looking for female volunteers to help with:
We are looking for individuals that can work alongside a very enthusiastic and dynamic team of staff and volunteers who are driven by the desire to end all forms of violence against Kurdish and Middle Eastern women in the UK. Volunteering is both challenging and exciting and will involve cases of domestic violence, immigration, welfare and housing benefits, education, etc.
KMEWO is totally committed to the eradication of domestic violence and honour based killings within the Kurdish and Middle Eastern community. Working with other groups it has made significant contributions to the political discussions and current thinking in these areas both in the UK and in Europe.
If you have a few hours to spare each week and believe in the rights of women, then KMEWO would like to hear from you. All volunteers are reimbursed for travel expenses given a daily meal allowance.
