DOMESTIC VIOLENCE AGAINST WOMEN MUST END – NOW.
Violence against women is today one the most widespread human rights abuses in the world. It takes place within all communities and in all countries. In the UK it is estimated that at least three million women and girls are victims of domestic violence each year. This includes; physical attack on a person, rape and sexual violence, female genital mutilation, forced marriages, sexual harassment, honour killings and sexual exploitation.
The kurdish & Middle eastern Women’s Organisation has achieved much progress in the fight against domestic violence within the Kurdish, Middle Eastern and North African communities but much more needs to be done. Please support us in the struggle to eradicate these abuses against women by making a donation a donation of £5.00 to help with our running costs.
