Key findings and Lessons learned from KMEWO’s “Women Learning for Living” Project  is ready to be shared with our sister organisations , peers and local statutory and main stream services that supports women in Adult Education, Learning ,Volunteering, Employment and DV issues .

Program:
–       Screening ( Lost in Translation) – a short film that raises awareness of barriers and issues that BAME women are facing in accessing mainstream education and services.
–       Launch of “Lost in Translation – No More! “ Report: An evaluation report of KMEWO’s Women Learning for Living Project sharing our Key learning in ways of reaching out to and working with women, who might be vulnerable and isolated.
–       Women sharing their stories: Hearing stories of women who have transformed their lives through accessing KMEWO’s learning for Living Project.
–       Sharing good practice: hearing from local leaderships and Grass root groups who are supporting women from BAME communities into Education, volunteering and employment.

KMEWO’s Women Learning for Living is a three years project funded by The Big Lottery Reaching Communities fund for 2012-2015 providing Confidence building activities, ESOL, IT and Employability courses to Kurdish, Middle Eastern and North African women.
This event is very useful for all professionals, staff and volunteers from Education, Employment, volunteering and DV service providers in Islington and neighbouring boroughs.
